Jacob Elordi will play Elvis Presley and Cailee Spaeny is Priscilla Presley for Sofia Coppola’s next film “Priscilla” based on the 1985 memoir “Elvis and Me” by Priscilla Presley herself.
The book has Priscilla recounting the story of their love, revealing the details of their first meeting, their marriage, their affairs, their divorce, and the unbreakable bond that remained long after his tragic death.
Coppola adapted the script and has been eyeing this as her follow-up to “On The Rocks”. A24 will distribute in North America with Stage 6 Films/Sony Pictures International Releasing handling much of the rest of the world.
Coppola, Henley, Lorenzo Mieli and American Zoetrope will produce.
